The Sailors’ Society welcomes all to their annual dedication service which has become a highlight on the Sailors’ Society, South Africa’s calendar.
At this service chaplains as well as members of the Society re-dedicate themselves to continue serving seafarers and making their well-being our prime concern.
The service which will be held on 22 January 2017 at 09h30 at the Glenwood Presbyterian Church opens with a flag procession and the singing of the South African Nation Anthem, Nkosi sikelel’ Afrika.
The Glenwood Presbyterian Choir is another highlight by their singing of the Anthem and leading the congregation in song.
This year, Rev. Paul Richardson, a Sailors’ Society chaplain, will lead the worship.
All are welcome and those attending are invited to tea/coffee and eats after the service in the hall.
