Packing of the Christmas Gifts for Seafarers on 20 November

Every Christmas the Sailors’ Society and other Christian mission organisations distribute gifts to all the seafarers in port. The gifts are collected or made during the year and are packed for distribution on one morning at the Mission in Bayhead. “Please diarise 20 November 2018 for the packing of the gifts at the Seafarers Mission,Bayhead,” says Linda van Schalkwyk. Christmas Cheer in the Port of Durban

Santa Claus arrived in the Port of Durban recently and enlisted his helpers, the chaplains of various Missions, to accompany him and board vessels in port to hand out gifts – part of the 1400 parcels packed by other volunteers.
