We are pleased to introduce Jessie John who is a new chaplain and will start her work as a volunteer as of 1 February 2014. Jessie also works in the Inner City Mission in Durban. She is very enthusiastic about the work she will do in the port together with another long standing chaplain Paul Richardson.
When you think of South African ports your first thought is usually of Durban – rated as the largest port of the African continent. Then you think of Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and East London. You remember Richards Bay and Saldanha Bay. And don’t forget the new port of Ngqura, at Coega, 20 km northeast of Port Elizabeth. Those are South Africa’s Ports.
