Sailors’ Society Follows up with Outreach to the Maredon Crew

The tragic incident of the chokka [squid] fishing vessel, the Maredon, on her maiden voyage, which capsized off St. Francis Bay in the Eastern Cape on 16 July 2017 is still not forgotten. Spirited ISS Annual Dedication Service in Durban

What has become a highlight on the Sailors’ Society, South Africa’s calendar is the annual Dedication Service where chaplains as well as members of the Society re-dedicate themselves to continue serving seafarers and making their well-being our prime concern.
